Happy Birthday Michelle!
Everyone is in for a treat: because Michelle’s Birthday is this Monday, we have some Birthday Cake available. No, not the food, the tea!
This fun blend of Rooibos, dehydrated ice cream (astronaut ice cream anybody?), and sprinkles smells literally like Birthday cake.
That is, it also smells rather sweet, like Birthday cake.
That is, the very sweet smell makes your fillings constrict, and unpleasant memories of consuming tiny 5 year old fistfuls of icing, especially off plastic detached clown heads, resurface most unexpectedly.
Or perhaps that’s just me.

But don’t worry, this tea smells a lot sweeter than it tastes. It is over powering in the nose, but on the tongue it is just the perfect amount of sweet and the classical rooibos taste. There is some hot under the cat tea cozy, and some cooling in the fridge.
