Good afternoon everyone,

The tea today is a Black tea flavoured with Lavender, a flower that in the language of flowers means “I don’t trust you.” Language of flowers? Why yes, back in the Victorian age, if you gave someone a tussie-mussie – that is a small bouquet of flowers -- you could craftily send a message to the recipient by what flowers were included. Lavender is such a potent and lovely smell, that it was commonly used to cover body odors when bathing each day was not an option. A sprinkle of lavender between the sheets and you didn’t even need to wash your bed clothes for another day or month.
So when you smelled lavender, the question was raise – what smell are trying to hide?

Such a innocent flower, and such an innocent tea.

Just….don’t hang around the tea pot too long…it’s suspicious.
